Vina Evelyn Wratten, 83, of Bargersville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.
She was born April 10, 1929, in Akron, Ohio, to Charles T. and Margaret (Jeffries) Jones. She married William B. Wratten on Oct. 9, 1953, in Akron, Ohio; he preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 2000.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and shopping. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Jane Blake of Pittsburgh, PA, and Vina Jeannene Nichalson (Terry) of Bargersville; son, Charlie S. Wratten of Bargersville; brother, Raymond P. Jones (Nancy) of Bomont, West Virginia; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William B. Wratten; son William T. Wratten; great grandson, Jonathan David McMasters, and a brother Sidney C. Jones.
The Rev. Roger Gifford will conduct a service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin. Friends may call from noon to service time Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Bluff Creek Cemetery in Greenwood.
