Barbara Bemis, 68, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012. She was a resident of Indianapolis.
She is survived by four children, Rick (Mona) and Ron (Dana) Bemis, Wanda (Rocky) Chadwick and Norma (Chris) Estelle; three sisters, Goldie Hockenberry, Sue Vance and Marie Mink; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ottis and Rose Winters; her husband, Chelcia Bemis; and two brothers, Butch and Wayne Winters.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday at G.H. Herrmann East Street Funeral Home, 1505 S. East St., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis.
