Mable Marie (Tarter) Mayfield, 79, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012. She was a resident of Indianapolis.
She is survived by eight children, Henry C. (Loretta) Hagedorn V, Dori (Darrell) Sparks-Unsworth, Debra Dehn, Dianne (Charles) Scott, and Richard A. (Jennifer), Neva E., Fred (Tracy) and Amelia (Rick Boldin) Hagedorn; a brother, Walter (Janice) Tarter; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hiram and Hazel (Broxon) Tarter; and two sisters, Ann and Eva Tarter.
Services will be at 6 p.m. today at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Chapel of the Chimes, 1234 Prospect St., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
