Betty Elizabeth Rash, 83, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Franklin.
She was born in Beech Grove on Dec. 3, 1928, the daughter of Jesse Charles and Carrie (Lady) Pickerel.
She is survived by five children, Stephen Michael Rash (Debbie) of New Jersey, and Paula Kay Williams (Fred), Deborah Jo Rash, Terrie Ann Chinn and Belinda Kristeen Raney (Ron), all of Franklin; eight grandchildren, James, Carrie, Jenny, Freddie, Stevie, Sarah, Johnathon and Corbin; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Reed of Franklin.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; and two brothers, Jesse Harold Pickerel and Robert Lee Pickerel.
Betty was employed by Sparkle Cleaners in Franklin for 17 years, retiring March 8, 2002.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin.
