Mary A. (Stogdill) Long, 76, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Indiana University Hospital in Martinsville. She was a resident of Freetown.

Survivors include two daughters, Janet A. Long of Freetown and Sally R. Richardson of Bloomington; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Reynolds of Greenfield, Lou Ella Stogdill and Sarah Mullis, both of Bloomington, Lloyd Stogdill of Freetown, James “Bud” Stogdill of Nineveh, Joseph Stogdill of Greenwood and Samuel Stogdill of Franklin.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Otto Levi and Beulah Edna (Wootton) Stogdill; a great-great-grandchild; sisters, Norma Nash and Thelma Strunk; and brothers, Warren, William, David, Walter and Charles Stogdill.

The Rev. Jim Ackerman will conduct a funeral service at noon Monday at the Country-Gospel Music Church, 5181 State Road 46 E., Gnaw Bone. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Monday at the church. Burial will be at the Houston Cemetery in Jackson County.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith — Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
