James Scott Gardner, 55, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012.
He was born Jan. 10, 1957, in Franklin to James E. and Barbara L. “Bobbi” Gardner.
Scott was a 1975 graduate of Center Grove High School and worked as a meat cutter for Marsh Supermarkets for 20 years. He most recently was self-employed as a lawnmower repairman.
When he wasn’t working, Scott could be found enjoying NASCAR and playing poker.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Carol (Waggoner) Gardner; two children, David Burgess and Nicole Egner; and two grandchildren, Harmoni Munden and Elaina Egner. Scott also is survived by his parents; two brothers, Steve (Billi) Gardner and Michael (Deanna) Gardner; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway, 2950 N. High School Road, Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood.
