Karl Gilbert Bosworth, 79, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean Bosworth; three children, Nancy (Daniel) Goble of Fort Wayne, Michael Shawn Bosworth of Anchorage, Alaska, and Anita (Tom) Shelley of Avon; two stepchildren, Eric (Bobbie) Erwin of Lake Mills, Wis., and Andrea (William) Yacopucci of Jefferson, Mass.; four grandchildren; four sisters, Susanna Murry of Vincennes, Lula Fleck of Lewisport, Ky., Patty Young of Lawrenceville, Ill., and Dorothy (Chuck) Yochum of Union City, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judith Joan Bosworth; and his parents, Gilbert and Antoinette Kirk Bosworth.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Southport Christian Church, 201 E. Epler Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis, and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
An additional service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., Vincennes. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Southport Christian Church (DOC), in care of the funeral home.
