Lola Ruth (Dunning) Hoskins, 84, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at St. Paul Hermitage in Beech Grove. She was a resident of Greenwood and a former longtime resident of New Whiteland.
She is survived by a daughter, Amy Jo (Chuck) Billingsly of Greenwood; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, ViEva (David) Thrasher and Lois Magner, both of Bloomington; and a brother, Kextel Dunning of Gosport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luffman Hoskins Jr.; her parents, Harley Otis and Beulah Mae (Baugh) Dunning; and two brothers, Keith and Kenneth Dunning.
Shan Caldwell will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Friday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. Morton St. (U.S. 31 South) in Franklin. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the mortuary. A rosary service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Gosport Cemetery.
