Hazel M. (Sizemore) Hubbard, age 78, passed away peacefully Friday morning, March 1, 2013, at her home in northern Brown County.

By her side, was her loving husband of 63 years, Odus Hubbard and her family. Odus and Hazel were married on Feb. 21, 1950, in Manchester, Ky,

Hazel was born in Manchester, Ky., on Aug. 10, 1934, to the late Millard and Lou Ellen (Napier) Sizemore. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and homemaker.

Hazel is survived by her husband; children, Sandra Sue Buckler of Greenwood, Melissa Ann (Jerry) Williams and Douglas Hubbard, both of Trafalgar. She will be remembered by her daughter-in-law, Connie Hubbard of Trafalgar; 11 grandchildren, Kim Keller, Lisa Couch, Sabrina Mix, Kevin, Jeff and Eric Eisenmenger, Angela, Amanda, Michael and Matthew Hubbard and Christopher Williams; and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Darlene Eisenmenger; one son, Donald R. “Donnie” Hubbard and siblings, Addie and Gracee Sizemore, Hiram, David, Sidney, Felix and Howard Sizemore.

Hazel enjoyed reading her Bible, playing her guitar and singing Christian songs. She loved spending time with her family and they enjoyed her cooking and baking, especially her homemade biscuits. Hazel also enjoyed traveling with her husband, canning, sewing and crocheting.

The Rev. Burt Mize will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St., in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
