Dennis L. Stolz, 59, of New Whiteland, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, peacefully at home of a sudden heart attack.
He was born May 10, 1953, in Jacksonville, Fla.
He is survived by his daughter, Liz Stolz; mother, Mary Ann Stolz; dearest friend, Nickie Bough; brother, Eric Stolz; and sister, Amy Hastings.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Stolz.
A 25-year employee of Sandvik Coromont, Dennis was a productivity engineer focusing on the aerospace and automotive industries.
One of his greatest loves was auto racing, from being in the stands to Gasoline Alley to being in the pits.
Honoring Dennis’ love of racing, donations may be made to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum, 4790 W. 16th St., Indianapolis, IN 46222.
A service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
