Eugene Stanton Shacklock, 72, died Friday, March 8, 2013. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer (Phil) Burba; brother, Alfred (Ellen) Shacklock; sister, Esther (Harry) Nelson; two step-daughters, LaVonne (Emmett) Coffer, Patricia (Richard) Reynolds, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Shacklock; parents, Edwin and Elizabeth (Fowler) Shacklock and three siblings.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Round Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis in care of the funeral home.
