Herbert C. Nees, 85, died Sunday, March 10, 2013. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
He was born in Indianapolis to the late Herbert and Florence Nees.
Herbert graduated from Butler University in 1954 with a degree in pharmacy. He co-owned Erdman Pharmacy in Franklin.
Herbert is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Janice Nees; children, Dale (Veronica) Nees, Chuck (Theresa) Nees of Kokomo, Brian (Kathi) Nees of Litchfield, Maine, and Sharon (Brian) Lindsay; grandchildren, Amy, Kyle, Jessica, Ryan, Emily, Drew and Alex; stepgrandchildren, Amanda, Ryan and Kaitlyn; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E. Stop 11 Road, Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Merkel Cell Carcinoma, in care of the funeral home.
