Norval Chester Walker, 96, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.
He was born Nov. 13, 1916, in Nineveh to George and Dessie (Burton) Walker. He married Marie (Hardin) Kennedy on March 22, 1968.
He is survived by a son, Richard Walker of Spokane, Wash.; a daughter, Teresa (Keith) Duncan of Batavia, Ill.; a stepson, Larry (Sue) Kennedy; and many grandchildren.
He was preceded in passing by his parents; and wife, Marie.
Norval was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was employed by Schwitzer Corp. in Indianapolis as a machinist, retiring after many years of service.
He was a member of Nineveh Masonic Lodge.
The Rev. Charles Stanley will conduct a service at 11 a.m. Friday at the Kresge Chapel at the Indiana Masonic Home, 690 S. State St., Franklin. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the chapel. A Masonic service will be conducted by the Nineveh Masonic Lodge. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
