William A. “Bill” Franklin, 90, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
He is survived by two sons, James A. (Irene) and Charles K. (Nancy) Franklin; a daughter, Rose M. (Charles) Hunter; a brother, James A. Franklin; a half brother, Charles Albrecht; a half sister, Betty Graves; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin A. Franklin and Hassie M. Linder; his wife, Edith J. (Bastin) Franklin; one brother; three sisters; and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
