Mrs. Gladys Barger, 90, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013.
She was born Dec. 13, 1922, a daughter of John and Lacy (Hadley) Smith.
Survivors include a son, Jeff Burnham; two daughters, Lorrie Katsimpalis and Judy Brundege; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Gladys was a bookkeeper at Eastern Illinois University, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Vineyard Church in Greenwood and enjoyed card games, gardening and bingo.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Gladys will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
