The Rev. Charles E. Smith, 86, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013. He was a resident of Franklin.
He is survived by his wife, Louise D. Smith; a son, Mike (Jan) Smith; a daughter, Debbie (Joel) Flowers; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac B. and Eva (Richardson) Smith; and five siblings.
A celebration of life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 418 W. Main St. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
