Lucille P. Schrock, 74, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013, in Indianapolis.
She was born in Brown County on July 20, 1938, the daughter of Clinton and Myrtle (Bridgewater) Smith.
She was employed in the housekeeping department at the Seasons Lodge and Conference Center for 35 years.
Lucille was a member of the Franklin Active Adult Center. She was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, bingo, collecting rooster memorabilia, making jewelry, outings with her daughters and attending her grandchildren’s functions.
Her survivors include seven daughters, Lynn (Andy) Haddix of New Palestine, Shirley (Robert) Stogsdill of Indianapolis, Thelma (Allan) Jones of Ellettsville, Betty (Jack) Baugh of Bloomington, Patricia (Donnie) Gorbett of Columbus, Susie (Larry) Link of Morgantown and Vickie (Jack) Abbott of Franklin; 31 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Peggy (Leslie) McNear of Cloverdale.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frederick Schrock; her companion, Bill Tulley; a sister, Anna May Smith; four brothers, Wilbur, Clinton Jr., Robert and Leo Smith; two grandsons, Joseph Gilles and Joshua Caleb Baugh; and several nephews and nieces.
A funeral service will be at noon Saturday at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 N. State Road 135, Nashville. The family will receive visitors from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Christiansburg Cemetery in Brown County.
