James E. Warner, 91, of Columbus, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at his residence.
Survivors include his son, Dale (Kathy) Warner of Columbus; brother, John (Judy) Warner of Columbus; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded by his wife, Evelyn Faye (Miller) Warner; a son, James Douglas Warner; parents, Lonnie Warner and Nellie (Bailey) Warner Hauser; stepfather, Thane Hauser; and siblings, Sam, Max, Lonnie, Harry and Bobby Dale Warner, and Charlotte Godsey, Mary Anderson and Pansey Waltz.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh, with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
