George W. Myers Jr., 75, of Edinburgh, died Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation in Franklin.
He was born Jan. 21, 1939, in Johnson County to the late George W. and Wilma (Kaiser) Myers Sr.
Survivors include his daughters, Denise (Luke) Swift and Vickie (Bob) Richardson, both of Edinburgh, and Tammy (Duke) Baker of Columbus; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Myers; a sister, Olive Myers; and one grandson, Joshua Myers.
He was a member of Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh.
He retired after 15 years of service from Golden Foundry in Columbus. He was a loving father, loved his grandchildren and liked model cars and going to tractor and car shows.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Who So Ever Will Community Church, 623 S. Eisenhower Drive, Edinburgh, with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 1 p.m. until the time of service Friday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Arrangements are being handled by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
