JoAnn Burton, 73, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at University Hospital in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Edinburgh.
She was born March 18, 1941, to the late Alvin Taylor and Betty Ora (Ford) Williams.
She married Clifton Burton on Nov. 11, 1956. He survives.
Other survivors include her sons, Michael (Mary Ann) Burton of Edinburgh and Ronnie Lee Burton of Franklin; three brothers, Ronald (Barbara) Williams of Crawfordsville, Bill Williams of Kokomo and Eugene (DeeDee) Williams of Smithville, Ky.; two sisters, Mildred (Don) Simmons of Terre Haute and Sue Kelsay of Columbus; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Lee Burton; a brother, George E. “Jack” Williams; and three sisters, Bonnie Anderson, Daisy Walters and Ruby Wilson.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and cake decorating.
The Rev. Lewis Burton will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday at Who So Ever Will Community Church, 623 S. Eisenhower Drive, Edinburgh. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh is handling arrangements.
