Beverly Sue (Ragsdale) Stockton, 67, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014, in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Greenwood.
Beverly was born April 16, 1946, in Indianapolis to Leonard A. and Sara A. (Cates) Ragsdale. She married Steve Stockton on Oct. 19, 2002, in Shelbyville.
She was a homemaker.
Beverly enjoyed cooking and watching game shows and soap operas on television. She loved people, music, dancing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a very caring and giving person.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Stockton of Greenwood; two children, Ronald Lewis Cochran of Greenwood and Angela Sue (Donnie) Couch of Cloverdale; two sisters, Dolores (Kermit) Freels of New Whiteland and June (Darrell) Mullins of Shelbyville; two brothers, Leonard G. Ragsdale of Beech Grove and William E. Ragsdale of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Tiffany L. (Paul) Blackburn of Cloverdale and Sara C. Couch of Cloverdale; one great-grandchild, Donnie J. Blackburn; and one great-grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Donna J. Cloud.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S. 31 North. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Youngs Creek Cemetery near Franklin.
