Paul W. Rusher
 

ood, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014.

Born Nov. 26, 1925, in Hymera, he was the son of the late Noble and Catherine Rusher. Paul was raised by Oliver and Beulah Marshall.

He was a graduate of Linton–Stockton High School and a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and Merchant Marine.

On Nov. 21, 1945, he married Patricia “Patsy” Armpriester in Linton.

Paul worked as a welder for the Ford Motor Co. in Indianapolis until his retirement in 1987.

He was a member of Mount Auburn United Methodist Church in Greenwood. He served as past master of Greenwood Masonic Lodge F&AM 514 and was a member of the Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine in Indianapolis.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Rusher; a son James (Emily) Rusher; two brothers, Bill and James Marshall; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, John Rusher; a brother, Gordon Rusher; and two sisters, Evelyn Porter and Alta Rose Rusher.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
