James Frederick “Fred” Winslow, 81, passed away June 9, 2014, at Clermont Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clermont, Florida. He was a former resident of Franklin and Lamb Lake.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Betty (Friedersdorf) Winslow, of Leesburg, Florida; and his children, William “Bill” Winslow (Donna) of Orlando, Florida, and Suzanne “Suzi” Quaka (Michael) of Aurora, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Jakob, Keirstyn and Karina Quaka. He also is survived by his siblings, Alan Winslow (Diona) of Tavares, Florida, and Martha Winslow of Columbus.
A memorial service was conducted Friday at First United Methodist Church of Clermont, Florida. Burial and a celebration of his life will be conducted in Franklin at a date to be determined later this summer.
