Paul S. Alexander
 

Dr. Paul S. Alexander, 86, of Greenwood passed to glory on June 17, 2014.

He was born Jan. 3, 1928, in Indianapolis to Carl and Mabel Alexander.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy; children, Anne, Dottie (Greg) Wade, Gordon and Emily (Andy) Eatough. His grandchildren are Stephanie, Kim, Beth and Daniel Wade, and Vera and Lydia Eatough.

He was predeceased by two sons, Stephen and Philip.

His surviving siblings are Mildred Wyant, Ray Alexander, Frances Selby, Dorothy Kendall and Carolyn McWhirter. He also has numerous nieces and nephews.

He spent his life working as a missionary in Taiwan teaching at the first Christian university on the island. He and his wife also were involved in Marriage Enrichment and founded the first Family Wellness Center at Tunghai University in Taiwan. He served in many capacities both at the university and in the church overseas as well as in

the states.

He was loved by and mentored many students throughout his life.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Southport Presbyterian Church, 7525 McFarland Blvd., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.
