Robert C. Bailey, 83, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Alice Martin and Sara Lee (Larry) Browning; a son, Sanford (Laurie) Bailey; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sanford and Bertha (Wooton) Bailey; his wife, Ruth M. Bailey; and a sister, Flossie Elmore.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2905 Carson Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis, where prayers will be recited at 9:15 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
