Thelma Jean Tames, 86, died Sunday, July 1, 2012, in Franklin. She was a resident of Wanamaker.
She was born in North Vernon on Aug. 23, 1925.
Jean was a homemaker and a baby sitter who loved children.
Jean is survived by her husband, Wallace Paul Tames; three sons, Larry (Bev), Steve and Paul Tames; three daughters, Marsha (Tom Spikes) Allen, Theresa Gentile and Cheryl Stevens; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-
grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, John Tames; her parents, Herman and Freda (Johnson) Reasoner; and two brothers, Edwin and Donald Reasoner.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Stirling-Gerber Chapel, 5950 E. Thompson Road, Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
