Christopher Paul Bryant, 39, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 24, 2012. He was a resident of Bardstown, Ky.
He was the son of Buck and Connie (Butcher) Bryant. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea.
He graduated from Central Hardin High School in Elizabethtown, Ky., on June 8, 1991.
He was a member of Franklin Cross Roads Baptist Church in Cecilia, Ky.
He is survived by his parents, Buck and Connie Bryant of Greenwood; one son, Travis Bryant of Kokomo; one sister, Tamara (Bill) Graham of Greenwood; two brothers, David (Sonya) Bryant of Pensacola, Fla., and Robert (Becky) Bryant of Fort Meade, Md.; five nephews; and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by two grandmothers, Ruby Bryant of Kentucky and Betty Butcher of Kokomo.
He will be buried Monday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, Ky. Pastor Steve Maxie will conduct a memorial service at 1 p.m. next Saturday at Faith Baptist Church, 1640 Fry Road, Greenwood.
