Howard E. Rowlett Sr., 81, died Saturday, July 28, 2012. He was a resident of Vevay and a former resident of Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy L. Rowlett of Vevay; four children, Howard E. “Pete” (Ellen) Rowlett Jr., Larry (Kathy) Rowlett and Darrell Rowlett, all of Indianapolis, and Mary Jane (Robert) McHenry of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Lois Leiter of Bedford, Ky., Jackie Hall of Orlando, Fla., and Nellie Patterson of Madison; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence J. and Mary Ellen McKay Rowlett; two children, Greg and Beth Ann Rowlett; and two brothers, Raymond and Clifford Rowlett.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
