Mary Katherine Gillot, 79, Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012.

She was born in Franklin to the late Earl and Minnie (Haymaker) Rynerson.

Mary is survived by her husband, Charles; a daughter, Mary Jane; a son, John; a grandson, Wesley; and a brother, Paul (Mary) Rynerson of Columbus.

She also was preceded in death by a brother, Marion Rynerson.

She returned to Indiana from Maryland, where she worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She was doing fairly well and looking forward to returning home with her husband, Charles.

She didn’t suffer nor see it coming. The happy anticipation of returning home helped to elevate her in her final days.

Now she is free from her aches, pains and worries. Yet, she continues to live on in our hearts and memories. She hugs and kisses us all with a happy smile.

She will always be with us. Just imagine, We are never separated.

A funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.

Memorial donations have been requested, if possible, to the Humane Society of the United States, 2100 L St. NW, Washington, DC 20037.
