KOKOMO, Indiana — A central Indiana couple's second set of triplets is doing well at home weeks after being born.
Bill and Sarah Imbierowicz's three daughters were born about 18 months after the arrival of their triplet sons. The Kokomo couple also has a 3-year-old son.
The girls — named Katie, Emmie and Meggie — don't have any issues with eating like their older brothers did, Sarah Imbierowicz told WRTV (http://bit.ly/1lmhva5 ).
"The girls take about 20 minutes each to eat and they play a little bit and then go to sleep," she said.
All their children were conceived through in vitro fertilization. The couple said they wanted to have a girl after four boys — but didn't anticipate another set of triplets.
Sarah Imbierowicz said her pregnancy went well before she gave birth in early January and that the girls didn't need to spend any time in the neonatal intensive care unit like their older triplet brothers — Sammy, Tommy and Drew.
Friends and neighbors have been helping out with their house full of young children, and Bill Imbierowicz said the big family is rewarding.
"When the kids smile, when they are having fun and stuff, when they accomplish new things, it's really fun to see that," he said.
