NORTH VERNON
George Edward Jackson, 70, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, in Indianapolis. He was a resident of North Vernon.
Survivors include five children, Jenise (Jeff) Sanders and Shawn Jackson, both of Indianapolis, Jeremy Jackson and Jason Jackson, both of North Vernon, and Jennifer Jackson Weber of Franklin; a sister, Mary (Don) Lillard of Indianapolis; a brother, Robert (Donna) Jackson of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Sergent.
A funeral service will be conducted at noon Saturday at New Whiteland Baptist Church, 520 Sawmill Road. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, is handling arrangements.
