Franklin students eligible for law school scholarship

Franklin College students and alumni have a new scholarship opportunity at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

The two schools recently created the Franklin College Law Scholar program, which will allow a student or alumnus to be eligible for a half-tuition scholarship.

Franklin College will nominate two students or alumni annually for admission to the law school. Only nominated applicants will be considered.

Franklin College will base its selection on academic performance, letters of recommendation, professional, volunteer and leadership experience, and area of interest within the legal field.

The opportunity will include a half-tuition scholarship, a designation as a program fellow in the student’s chosen area of study and paid employment as a research assistant.

Franklin College will begin nominating students for the program beginning with the law school’s fall 2015 class.
