Domestic battery

300 block of Carriage Lane: Police responded at 5:47 p.m. Thursday to a report of domestic battery. A man was arrested.

Thefts

• Walmart, 2125 N. U.S. 31: Police responded at 8:03 p.m. Thursday to a report of shoplifting. A man was arrested on charges of theft for merchandise totaling $25.40.
• Franklin Meadows, 1285 W. Jefferson Street: Police responded at 11:27 a.m. Thursday to a report of theft.

Greenwood

Burglary

McGee and Co. Fine Jewelers, 880 N. U.S. 31: Police responded at 11:42 a.m. Wednesday to a report of attempted burglary to the business. A back entrance showed signs of someone attempting to pry open a door.

Criminal mischief

Polytainer Inc., 999 Gerdt Court: Police responded at 2:41 a.m. Thursday to a report of criminal mischief.

Thefts

• 1900 block of Hurley Street: Police responded at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday to a report of theft.
• David’s Bridal, 1238 N. U.S. 31: Police responded at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday to a report of theft from a vehicle.
• 1200 block of Thornmeadow Circle: Police responded at 2:08 p.m. Wednesday to a report of theft.

Personal-injury accidents

9:10 a.m. Thursday — State Road 37 North and County Road 800 North: Connie M. Dachtler, 37, Arvada, reported back pain.

2:15 p.m. Wednesday — Main and Patterson streets: Tyler J. Morgan, 20, Greenwood; Edward L. Philpott, 52, Indianapolis; Barbara F. Bennett, 59, Greenwood, reported neck pain.

5300 block of Old Smith Valley Road: Police responded at 12:41 a.m. Wednesday to a report of domestic battery. A man and a woman were arrested.

Fraud

1500 block of Heron Ridge Boulevard, Greenwood: Police responded at 11:42 a.m. Thursday to a report of a phone scam.

Thefts

400 block of Columbia Court, Greenwood: Police responded at 4:02 p.m. Thursday to a report of a stolen wallet taken from a vehicle.
