Residents no longer need to boil their water before eating or drinking in southern Johnson County.
Last week, both Prince’s Lakes and Trafalgar issued boil water orders, meaning residents needed to boil their water for five minutes before drinking or cooking with it. The order was issued after a water line break.
Water samples were sent for testing, and results showed they were not contaminated, according to a news release from Prince’s Lakes.
Both Prince’s Lakes and Trafalgar have lifted their orders.
