Applications are being accepted to replace a Whiteland Town Council member who resigned.
The Johnson County Republicans will conduct a caucus at 7 p.m. May 27 at the town hall, 549 Main St., to replace Chris Hadley who moved out of the town.
Applicants must live in Ward 2 of the town, which is mostly west of U.S. 31. The term ends in December.
Anyone interested in the position should send a letter by Sunday to Johnson County Republican Party Chairwoman Sandi Huddleston at 280 E. Creekside Court, Franklin, IN, 46131.
