Joseph O. McTarsney, 40, passed away Sunday evening, June 21, 2015, in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
He was born May 1, 1975, in Fairbanks, Alaska, to Larry G. and Kathy J. (Thomason) McTarsney.
Joe married Cristy (Vandivier) McTarsney on July 23, 2007. She survives in Indianapolis.
Other survivors include children, Kristina Marie McTarsney Woods, Samantha Paige McTarsney and Joseph O. McTarsney II, all of Franklin, and Nevaeh Dawn McTarsney of Indianapolis. He also is survived by one brother, Robert Lewis (Amanda) McTarsney of Franklin.
He was preceded in passing by two brothers, Michael Wayne McTarsney and Larry G. McTarsney II; and one daughter, Lexi Nichole McTarsney.
Joe attended Franklin Community High School. He worked in landscaping.
A celebration of Joe’s life will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
