Janice Taylor

INDIANAPOLIS

Janice Maxine Taylor, 50, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Indianapolis.

She was born on Jan. 17, 1965, to James and Dorothy (Roberts) Taylor.

Survivors include her father, James Taylor of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee; sister, Kathy Remsburg (Cole) of Franklin; nephews, Nick Remsburg (Emily) of Coatesville, and Jayden Remsburg and Nolan Remsburg of Franklin; great-niece, Madison Remsburg; aunt, Gladys, and uncle Dick Slicker of East Canton, Ohio, and uncle, Harold Roberts of Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

She was preceded in passing by her mother, Dorothy Taylor.

Janice attended one year at University of Indianapolis. She received her bachelor’s degree in communications from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.

She was a receptionist/manager for Select Physical Therapy. She was also a manager at the Center for Diagnostic Imaging. She was a manager at the Greenwood Sam’s Club for years as well.

Janice loved to read, loved going to the beach, spending time with her family and watching the Indianapolis Colts and Cleveland Browns.

The Rev. Bill Horner will conduct a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health.
