A Greenwood man is in the hospital after an accident Sunday morning.
Curtis Webster, 57, was taken to Community Hospital South after his vehicle went off State Road 37 and landed in a ditch at Smith Valley Road, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
A witness told police Webster’s vehicle made a wide turn and then went into the ditch, which was filled with water, the report said.
Firefighters pulled Webster from the vehicle.
Emergency workers believe Webster suffered a medical emergency before the accident, the report said.
He was listed in stable condition at Community Hospital South on Monday, according to a hospital spokesperson.
