Amity Baptist Church, 3597 U.S 31 South, Franklin, will host a block party and fish fry on Sept. 19.
Festivities are open to the public and will run from noon to about 6 p.m.
The event will include food, music, business representatives and the county canine unit.

Benedict Inn Retreat & Conference Center, 1402 Southern Ave., Beech Grove, will host a seasonal community labyrinth walk Sept. 17.
All are welcome to attend. An introduction will be at 7 p.m., with the walk beginning at 7:15 p.m.
