Franklin’s annual downtown fall festival is set for Saturday, featuring Tastes Like Chicken, local food vendors, hayrides and more.
The festival schedule is as follows:
8 a.m. to noon: Farmers market at Jefferson and Jackson streets
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Downtown street fair

10 a.m. to 4 p.: Kids Zone on West Court Street; Heritage Day the Johnson County Museum of History
11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Humane Society of Johnson County hayrides on Monroe and West Court streets; caricature drawings on West Court Street
11 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Lions Club fish fry
11 a.m.: Community Baking Contest: raisin; drop off entries by 11 a.m. at Jefferson and East Court streets; winner announced at 2 p.m. on the main stage
11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Kids activities on library service center lawn
1 p.m.: Parade
3 p.m.: Silly Safari on stage
2 and 7:30 p.m.: “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” at the Artcraft Theatre
7 to 10 p.m.: Tastes Like Chicken free outdoor concert
