The Franklin Kroger store is sponsoring a special event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today that will benefit Johnson County Senior Services.
Customers can donate canned food items for the senior center’s food pantry at the store, located at 1700 Northwood Plaza, Franklin.
Kroger also will have baked goods and a hot chocolate bar, with proceeds benefiting the agency. Raffle baskets will be auctioned, and the store will have a Giving Tree with lists of items that can be purchased for the senior center.
Senior Services representatives will be at the store to explain the needs of the agency and how to help local senior residents.
