Eric and Jan Fredbeck of Franklin announce the engagement of their daughter, Ellen Fredbeck of Bloomington, to Juan Ramirez of Franklin, son of Juan A. Ramirez and Beth Ramirez of Cucuta, Columbia.
Miss Fredbeck is a graduate of the University of Colorado-Boulder and a law student at the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University-Bloomington.
The future groom is a graduate of St. Cloud State University. He is an engineer at Cummins Inc. in Columbus.
The wedding is set for May 14 at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick History Center in Indianapolis.
