$2,000 scholarships available to students

Johnson County REMC is offering two $2,000 scholarships to high school seniors planning to attend an Indiana college or university. To be eligible, a recipient’s parent or guardian must be REMC members.

Applications are available from high school guidance counselors; at the REMC office, 750 International Drive, Franklin; and on the utility’s website, jcremc.com.

Application deadline is Jan. 29.

STEM scholarship available

Local college students may be able to apply for a STEM related scholarship.

Endress+Hauser is conducting a “Sustaining Scholars” program for a scholarship.

Eligible students must be studying in a STEM related field at Purdue University or Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology – or be enrolled in a degree program at Ivy Tech.

Students must also be graduates of a public high school in Johnson County and the southside.
