Hearts & Darts – January 4

Hearts

  • Hearts to the Franklin Community High School choir for winning the contest on 105.7 radio. There were many entrants, and they won the $2,500 first prize. I am proud to say I probably know some of them. Way to go kids.

Sue Asher,

retired Northwood cafeteria manager

Needham

  • Thanks to Greenwood Fire Station 94 for getting into the holiday spirit and decorating with all the twinkle lights. It puts a smile on my face every night when I pass by!

Susan Winter

Greenwood

  • Hearts to the Trotter family and LaTrattoria restaurant for making Wilma Harmening’s birthday on Dec. 13 “special.”

Bill Harmening and family

Franklin

  • A special hearts and more hearts to three special people, a.k.a. Santa and Mrs. Claus and elf Mary, who on the last day of school came to the Southwest Elementary School classroom of special needs and surprised our special ones. It was the first time my great-granddaughter has seen Santa up close and she never hesitated to sit on his lap. Thank you so much for bringing cheer to my special girl. You really made her Christmas.
