Edinburgh’s girls basketball team placed three players in double-figures Tuesday night in a 55-42 victory at South Decatur.
Allie Schooler scored 20 points for the Lancers, while Bri Howard added 14. Mariah Weddle posted a double-double for her squad (7-12) with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Howard and Megan Rooks finished with six and four assists, respectively, for Edinburgh.
“We were down 12-10 after the first quarter, but we picked up the defensive intensity, and that made our offense a little easier,” Edinburgh coach Amy Macy said.
Next up for the Lancers is Thursday’s home game against North Decatur. A win would give the program eight victories for the first time since the 2011-12 squad finished with an 8-14 record.
