GREENWOOD
Darlene Janette (LeGrand) Fisher, 53, of Greenwood, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at her residence.
She was born April 27, 1962, in Peoria, Illinois, to Clifford and Dorothy (Frye) LeGrand.
She married John L. Fisher on April 26, 1995, in Indianapolis; he survives.
She was a graduate of Illinois Central College, University of Illinois-Springfield and Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis.
She was a registered nurse.
She was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her children.
Survivors include her husband, John L. Fisher of Greenwood; daughter, Brook A. Fisher and son, Cliff P. Fisher, both of Greenwood; mother-in-law, Vera A. (Alexander) Fisher of Bargersville; brother, Alan LeGrand of Illinois, sister, Diane Christy (Dave) of Fairfield, Illinois; a niece, Alisa Christy of Fairfield, Illinois; and a great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronnie LeGrand; and father-in-law, John L. Fisher.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 U.S. 31 South (Morton Street), in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
