Police seeking woman who robbed store

While customers were shopping and filling prescriptions at a busy Center Grove area store, police said a woman waited with a list of drugs she wanted to steal.

When the line cleared from the pharmacy at the Marsh store, located at State Road 135 and Stones Crossing Road, the woman walked up to the counter, demanded a list of prescription drugs and left with an unknown amount of drugs.

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the woman, caught on surveillance footage, and a car seen leaving the area.

The robbery happened just before 7 p.m. Tuesday. The robber went into the grocery store and walked around while the pharmacy counter was busy, Bargersville Police Department investigator Steve Byerly said.

When the counter cleared, she handed an employee a list of prescription drugs she wanted, but did not show a weapon, he said.

The woman then got the drugs and left the store, all within about 10 minutes. Police believe she may have gotten into a gray-colored vehicle seen leaving the area shortly after the robbery, Byerly said.

Police are asking for anyone who has any information on the woman in the video or the vehicle to call Bargersville police at 317-422-1222, Byerly said.
