<p>Claud B. Rigney, 89, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016. He was a resident of Franklin.</p>
<p>He was born Nov. 20, 1926 in Liberty, Kentucky.</p>
<p>He is survived by his wife, Martha Holmes Ginn Rigney; daughters, Brenda (John) Holmes, Pam Helkema, son, Randall (Debbie) Rigney; son-in-law, Larry Helkema; Martha’s children, Richard, Mark, Michael Holmes, Jae Lynn Riedeman and Brent Holmes; grandchildren, Bryan Marsh, Lauri Ann Kritzer, and Patti Rzeszut; great-grandchild, Angie Parnell; and great-great-grandchildren, Dwayne, Cain, Emma, and Devin.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris June Rigney and his second wife, Rachel Rigney.</p>
<p>Claud was a veteran of the U.S. Army and later retired from Reifers Furniture Store.</p>
<p>A service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at the Franklin United Methodist Community, Wright Chapel, 1070 W. Jefferson St., Franklin. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the service time on Friday. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery.</p>
<p>Memorial contributions are suggested to New Life Baptist Church, 751 S. Nineveh Road, Franklin, IN 46131, the Franklin United Methodist Community, or the church of your choice.</p>
