Eleanor Mae (Mathena) Logan

FRANKLIN

Eleanor Mae (Mathena) Logan, 85, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016, at Kindred Hospital in Greenwood.

She was a resident of Franklin, and had lived at the Indiana Masonic Home Health Care Unit for the last six and a half years.

She was born May 5, 1930, in Needham Township. Her parents were Lawrence C. and Lucille (Adams) Mathena.

She married William R. Logan Jr. on Dec. 1, 1951. He survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Michael A. Logan and David B. Logan (Kathy), all of Franklin; three grandchildren, Ashley L. Logan, Amy B. Schilk (Jason) and Zachary M. Logan, all of Franklin; and grandchild, Zaylee R. Schilk.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert D. Mathena.

She was a 1948 graduate of Franklin High School and a member of the class of 1952 at Franklin College.

She retired from Fifth Third Bank in Franklin in 1991, as a branch manager.

Eleanor was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where she had served as a trustee, and a volunteer money counter.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be missed by all.

There will be no service at this time. A memorial will be at a future date.
