Police raid underage drinking party

<p>Five people were arrested and two teens could face juvenile charges after police learned about an underage drinking party on social media.</p>
<p>Sheriff’s deputies went to a home on West County Road 100N, west of Franklin, just after 10:30 p.m. Saturday after learning the party had been posted on social media.</p>
<p>Inside, deputies found several people and multiple bottles of alcohol. The homeowners were out of town, according to the report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.</p>
<p>Seven people tested positive for alcohol, with blood-alcohol contents ranging from .02 to .13 percent. Under state law, a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent is considered intoxicated.</p>
<p>Police arrested five people on charges of consumption of alcohol by a minor. The sheriff’s office is also sending information about two teens, ages 16 and 17, to the juvenile probation department to be considered for charges, the report said.</p>
<p>The teens were sent home with their parents.</p>

<p>Brandon Hardcastle, 18, 1695 E. Jefferson St., Franklin.</p>
<p>David F. Kahre, 20, 1177 Oak Leaf Road, Franklin.</p>
<p>John T. Greaves, 18, 2821 Fieldstone Court, Franklin.</p>
<p>Phillip D. Karsten II, 18, 449 N. Jackson St., Franklin.</p>
<p>Four of the teens were released from the jail on $1,000 bond. Kahre was released on $250 bond.</p>
